It was the year 2019, and I was already well-established in my career as a senior software engineer. The passion for technology and the desire to make a difference in the construction industry led me to found my first startup, Construa App. This startup was dedicated to providing best practices in construction and efficiently managing construction projects. But the vision of something greater was always present in my heart.

Thus, JOYA Solutions was born, a company created with the noble goal of transforming the way small and medium-sized businesses operate. Imagine a company where Word documents, spreadsheets, and manual processes are transformed into robust and efficient systems. This was the mission I embraced when founding JOYA Solutions.

At that time, I was already part of the XP Investimentos team, a dynamic and innovative environment that only fueled my entrepreneurial ambition. With the arrival of the pandemic, the world experienced an unprecedented technological acceleration. I saw a unique opportunity for growth and innovation. Leveraging my English language skills, I managed to secure strategic partnerships with American companies. This was a turning point for JOYA Solutions.

Our team quickly grew, and the solutions we developed began to serve clients in various parts of the world. The pandemic, despite all its challenges, showed us that technology can be a bridge that connects and transforms realities.

CEO

Rafael Franco is our CEO and has over 15 years of experience in the technology field. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a Teaching Degree in Computing, an MBA in Project Management, an MBA in Private Banks and Investments, and is certified as a Microsoft Certified Developer. Rafael has led various technology teams and worked at major companies like XP Investimentos, Instituto Unibanco, Viceri Seidor, Bevicred, and RCervellini. He was also the founder of the startup Construa App. His extensive knowledge encompasses IT management with a focus on software and systems development, cloud computing, security, and mobile applications.

Recently, Rafael was approved by the American consulate for the EB2-NIW visa due to his extraordinary abilities, with a recommendation from Paul Benjamin, Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Courant Institute, New York University, and Professor of Computer Science at the School of Computer Science and Information Systems.
